Great news for romance and comedy fans! The popular manga series Watomura-ke, Tadaima Ojamasaremasu! (also known as I’m Home, Sorry for the Intrusion!) is officially getting a TV anime adaptation.
The announcement was made yesterday, and the anime is scheduled to air next year. Here is everything you need to know about this exciting new series.
What is the Story About Tadaima, Ojamasaremasu!?
The story follows Rinko Nakama, a 24-year-old woman who works hard at her office job. She has a secret: she is a huge “otaku” (a super fan of anime and manga).
Rinko lives alone in apartment 602. She tries to relax by reading her favorite manga or watching anime, but she has a big problem. Her neighbor in apartment 603 constantly bangs on the wall to complain about the noise.
One day, Rinko asks her other neighbor, a kind man named Akito Satsuki from apartment 601, to help her talk to the angry neighbor. Things go wild when the angry neighbor kicks down the wall!
Rinko is shocked to discover that her angry neighbor is actually Haruma Usada, the creator of her favorite manga! This leads to a strange and funny life where the three neighbors end up “sharing” their living space through the broken walls.

The anime has announced a star-studded voice cast for the three main neighbors:
